Powerhouse Jazz Band - The Jazz Club of WA

Remembering Barry Bruce. The popular Powerhouse Jazz Band was formed in Perth in early 1997 with the commitment to perform a variety of popular jazz styles, playing mainly dixieland, swing and some latin. Original members Phil Hatton, John Healy, Tim Woolley and Hermann Scheidler are now joined by Rob Bresland, Kim Anning and Tony Celiberti. Over the years, many great musos have played with the band. The evening is dedicated to the memory of the late Barry Bruce (d.2022), a warm and talented musician whose beautiful style and powerful presence touched many in the Perth jazz community.
