Rudimental Australian Tour

Four-piece Rudimental will hit the road in Australia this May to play their biggest headline shows to date. The Brisbane show will kick off the tour before heading out to Sydney, Melbourne and finishing in Adelaide.

The release of 2015’s We The Generation (out now via Warner Music Australia), featuring favourites like ‘Bloodstream’, ‘Never Let You Go’, Platinum-selling single ‘Lay It All On Me’ (ft. Ed Sheeran) and the new single ‘Rumour Mill’ (ft. Anne-Marie & Will Heard) saw the band go from strength to strength.

Rudimental's Global Tour went as a perfect celebration for their album release. But they didn't stop there. The band also did a series of sold out Australian shows and highly-charged performances. They also joined Ed Sheeran by support in his Australian and New Zealand shows where they played before 250,000 fans.

Audiences can look forward to hits from Rudimental’s impressive back catalogue like breakthrough single ‘Feel The Love’ (ft. John Newman), 2013 BRIT Single of the Year ‘Waiting All Night’ (ft. Ella Eyre) and ‘Not Giving In’ (ft. John Newman & Alex Clare). Tracks culled from We The Generation go on top of all these.

Fellow Brit Powerhouse Jess Glynne will join Rudimental. Making her debut to the music scene as featured vocals on Clean Bandit's 4x platinum 'Rather Be', Glynne made a mark in 2015 when she became the second British female solo artist in history to have five number-one singles in the UK charts.

Following suit, Glynne’s debut album I Cry When I Laugh (out now via Warner Music Australia) rocketed at the top of the UK charts and landed at the top ten here in Australia. The album touches on love and loss with an injection of optimism, reflected in platinum selling tracks like ‘Hold My Hand’, ‘Real Love’, ‘Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself’, the gold certified ‘Not Letting Go’ (with Tinie Tempah) and current smash ‘Take Me Home’. Fans had better be ready to hear and witness Glynne's powerful vocals and songwriting abilities.

"…subtle yet powerful, tender but determinedly down to earth" – The Guardian

Sydney’s own Thandi Phoenix will complete the line up. A refreshing soulful sensation, Phoenix has a raw and enchanting voice and has already stunned audiences at Bluesfest, Soulfest and Splendour In The Grass. Current single ‘Come Around’ is ominous of exciting things to come, setting the tone for her highly anticipated debut EP – lucky audiences on Rudimental’s Australian tour will be amongst the first to hear slices from the forthcoming release.

Be ready to see a stage full of purely talented artists. A melange of backup singers and musicians line the stage surrounding Rudimental’s four founding members - Amir Amor, Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden and Leon Rolle - who bring all they’ve got to their performances.

With a history of sold out shows in Australia and New Zealand, fans best act quick to secure their tickets for a surefire swashbuckling tour!
