After selling out all of her Sydney Comedy Festival shows, Aboriginal comedian Steph Tisdell returns to Sydney for an encore performance of her award winning show “Identity Steft”. Identity Steft delves into issues of identity, what ‘sorry day’ really means from an Aboriginal perspective and discusses the merits of white guilt vs overt racism.
Her mental health struggles culminate in a hilarious journey, ultimately leading somewhere inspirational. Including an abridged history lesson and policy overview through a comedy rap, Steph hopes Identity Steft can be both a rip-roariously hilarious show with lessons interwoven throughout.
Nominated Best Newcomer Melbourne International Comedy Festival Winner Show of the Week, Adelaide Fringe Festival.
